From now on I am ot going to post my lists of words learned but instead I will post links to quizlet where I have made sets of flashcards.hopefully these are more useful to everyone who reads this site anyways. On a sweet note, I found a copy of the hobbit in Italian at a local used book store for $5 today, score!
So I decided to get back into my italian. I studied italian for awhile last year and frankly I miss it greatly. I have decided not to do Pimsleur this time around but to more casually go through Rosetta Stone. The reason I am going more casually through this language is because I am actively studying Modern Hebrew as well as trying to keep up with my Portuguese and French which have gotten away from me a little bit.
But through all of my language study, one language has called to me more than even my first – french – and that is the language of Italy. So here is my day 1 List:

Why this site?
Like many people in the world today, I love the Italian language and people. The fluid sound has always struck me as brutally lovely. About a year ago I began to do Pimsleur’s Italian course but various things got in the way and I was unable to continue. I would like to once again pick up where I left off and continue my viaggio.
I hope this site can provide some laughs for those who know and understand far more than I do and I hope that it can give others some encouragement in their own study along the way.
